Bruce....

Just finished watching Bruce Almighty, actually kind of watching, and listening while working on a new message for tomorrow.  I hope you know the movie, if not get it so this will make sense.

It was near the  end of the movie Bruce is talking to God and God tells Bruce that parting your soup is not a miracle, it's a magic trick.  He goes on to say "a single mom working two jobs and finding time to get to hers kids soccer game" thats a miracle.  

Finally he goes on to say  -- Don't ask for a miracle, be the miracle.  

I don't  know what your take is on this but it hit me in a very powerful way. Be the miracle.  Be Blessed.

The Ruby Tuesday Entry....

OK,  back on the last Saturday in May a friend from Toledo, Michelle let me know she would be passing through on her way home and we decided to meet for dinner.  I  looked at maps, (actually GPS) and made a couple phone calls and we decided on  Ruby Tuesday on 23 near Polaris.  After we left i thought I would be blogging about the "experience"

So we met there at around 4:30 in the afternoon and were seated right away.  As we were shown to a table I noticed the lady seating us did not have a name tag.  As we sat I commented to Michelle that they probably did not wear name tags because of the song by the Rolling Stones "Good By Ruby Tuesday"  and the line "Good by Ruby Tuesday, who could hang a name on you ..."

As I looked around I did notice no one wore name tags.  I started to write about the entire experience but decided not too since I really did not make anyone there aware of the problems and give them a chance to correct them.  Lets just say I probably won't return and will not be singing the line "still I'm gonna miss you"
